New Year | social illustration
For New Year’s Eve 2019, I made an illustration to represent the holiday.
Inspired by The Great Gatsby, over a glass of sparkling wine we see the two main characters watching fireworks.
Inside the glass is depicted Gatsby’s mansion, which plays a major role in the story.
The colors are dark to bring out the lights of the fireworks and the yellow glass of sparkling wine.
