Where are the bees? | illustration contest
Illustration created for the Free Thinkers contest, part of a series with an environmental and ecological theme.
There are four issues I have addressed: animal exploitation, global warming, renewable energy, and bee die-off.
This illustration in particular addresses the issue of bee mortality from a conceptual point of view.
Studies say they are disappearing due to pollution and to climate change.
The illustration focuses on the main subject, working on large, brightly colored backgrounds.
The color palette used is in shades of purple, blue and red.
